Auris-en-Oisans enjoys an exceptional setting: a sunny balcony with panoramic views of the Écrins, and a direct link with Alpe d’Huez since 1971.
By road:
- From Grenoble: follow signs for Les 2 Alpes, then at Le Freney-d’Oisans turn left towards Auris
- ⚠️ Avoid the route via La Garde that some satnavs suggest: the road is very narrow and exposed!
Access to the Grand Domaine:
- Sures chairlift: link to Alpe d’Huez
- Direct access to the Grand Domaine’s 250 km of slopes
- Departs from the snow front in the heart of the resort

Auris offers two ways to ski:
Auris sector (19 runs):
- 6 green, 9 blue, 5 red, 4 black
- 1,700 m of vertical drop within reach
- Perfect for families and for improving your skiing
Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez (111 runs):
- 250 km of skiing
- Access to La Sarenne, Pic Blanc and Le Tunnel
- From the glacier to the spruce forests
The sector’s hidden gems:
- Jacques le Bûcheron run: a fun trail through the forest with attractions, colourful features, whoops, bumps and tunnels
