“Ski Better, Decide Faster”
New this winter
World premiere at Alpe d'Huez: the first automated ski trail service
For the 2026–2027 season, PistesAlpedHuez.com is getting a makeover and offering skiers a personalized itinerary that’s ready in just a few seconds: tailored to their skill level, the time they have available, and the quality and crowd levels on the slopes—and shareable with their group in just one click.
The launch is accompanied by a new visual identity and a redesigned mobile interface, available in French, English, and Dutch.

The service
Where should I go skiing today, given the weather?
The Alpe d’Huez ski area is vast, and when looking at the trail map, many skiers are unsure of where to go or end up skiing the same areas over and over. PistesAlpedHuez.com puts together a complete itinerary for them, linking trails and lifts together.
“All ski GPS devices look for the shortest route from point A to point B. We do the opposite: you tell us how much time you have, and we’ll make the most of your time on the slopes.”
How It Works
- The skier opens the website on their smartphone or scans the QR code on the displays at the resort.
- He indicates his skill level and how much time he has available.
- In just a few seconds, the service calculates a complete route.
- He follows the route on the map, step by step.
- He shares it with his group with just one click.

The Creator
A project by an enthusiast
François Longin has been an avid skier at Alpe d’Huez for 40 years. Since 2024, he has been filming each of the resort’s runs one by one for the video series *UnJourUnePiste*, and later created PistesAlpedHuez.com to make this content available to skiers.
The website was designed, filmed, and developed by him, with a local and authentic approach: describing the slopes as a skier actually experiences them, not as they’re presented in a brochure.
Partners
Let's work together
PistesAlpedHuez.com is an independent website developed with the support of the Alpe d’Huez Tourist Office.
The project is open to new partnerships: ski schools, equipment rental shops, lodging providers, mountain restaurants, tourist offices in the Oisans region, and ski and outdoor media outlets.
